You have a few things to work thru on a 2001 DSDP
1. The NEW Penguin's have a different location for the DISCHARGE(Cold) outlet and may not align with the current hole in the roof of your Newmar. That means you have to modify the hole in the roof
2. You have a 5 button and the NEW Penguin has a 10 button CCC2 board. The Boards are NOT compatible with a 5 button. When installing a NEW Penguin 2 you have to purchase a 10 to 5 button control board kit and install on the New Penguin for the 5 button to work.
3. OR, you can replace BOTH Penguins and just purchase a 10 button CCC 2 and have the most up to date wall tstat system. I advise customers to do this if their existing AC/HP's are more than 10 years old. This is plug and play, no wiring modifications needed. Doug
