E 450 V 10 MPG
I'm wondering if my mpg will improve as the mileage on engine increases? My 31' weighs in at 13986. It's a 2011 with 7000 miles on it now. The best mpg so far has been 7.6. Babying it from Maine to C...

Not meaning to insult anyone, but I can't value statements of "Getting X amount of mpg at 55mph". I could say our rig gets 13-14mpg at 55 mph (per our ScanGauge-II), but our reality is that our "trip" average is around 9.5 mpg when we bring along our 2006 Jeep Liberty, and around 10.5 mpg when leaving it home. Calculation is based on fuel purchased & miles driven, averaged over the duration of the trip. Not the SG-II. We do live near Chicago so much of our driving is across the great plains under so-called "ideal" mpg conditions. Our B+ E350 rig weighs around 10,000 pounds on trips and is more aerodynamic than most class Cs. I could easily reduce the average with a lead foot, and could increase it by slowing down to 55 mph. I generally cruise 5mph over the posted speed limit for towing when applicable, but never over 70 mph.
We do have an on-board 4000 Onan generator which negatively impacts our numbers, so my stated average mpg is conservative.
