Easy way to remove slide topper?
I wanted to caulk the seams on my slide out but the topper makes it pretty difficult. Is there an easy way to remove the topper temporarily? There's no power to it but I imagine there's a spring to keep tension.
Fwiw, skinning the cat a different way. With the slide out a few inches, I can unscrew the seal from the inside and access the top of the slide inside the mh laying on top of the slide. Its a tight fit but much easier than pulling the pins on the rollers and lifting the whole topper off from the outside. 15 min job.
