I think the four gallon electric heater is the only thing that can fit. The European models have access to Truma heaters which not just heat water, but function as a furnace, and you can even get a fuel cell that runs off the propane, which more than compensates for the use of the furnace fans.
First thing I would do with this motorhome or the Winnebago Travato is to toss the 4 gallon electric, and add the Atwood on-demand heater which actually takes up less space. Only issue would be teeing the propane line, but if done right (T connection fitting, and valve), it shouldn't be too tough an upgrade for a lot more usable hot water when boondocking.
