Not sure I understand the issue.
Coach is 50 amp service, so it is wired for two separate hots. Since both outlets are supplied by the same warehouse breaker box, the neutrals will be tied together.
So, whether the two hots are "in phase" (same side of breaker box) or not, I don't see an issue. The neutral is sized to handle up to 50 amps. Most two 20's can supply is 40.
BUT, the real issue here is whether the other circuits he wants to run (charger, refrigerator, etc) are on the same hot as the A/C he wants to run.
If so, there is NO GAIN to have the other hot supplied by a different outlet.
