It all depends in what part of the country you are in. Heat is hard on batteries and will last three to four years. If you are in the cooler states, you might get five if you are lucky. Mine have lasted around four years. I have bought the sealed no maintenance batteries and I never have had any problems with corrosion on either the two chassis or four six volt house batteries.. One thing I do is to wash them every so often. Just a habit I guess from my railroad days watching machinists washing batteries on just about everything mechanical.
