Personal preference is for the lower reving GM, but that is just me. I have had both in MH's and service trucks and they will do a good job at a reasonable fuel mileage and with minimal repairs. My decision would be based more on floor plan and how they ride and drive, and ultimately value. I woudn't spend a dollar more than what I had to because there is nothing I have ever owned that depreciates faster than a motorhome. Even an older one in a lot of cases.
