I bought one from HF about a month ago, it is the 98568 Code Reader. I think it was $49 less 25% off coupon. I don't really want to do the work on the Suzi but I do want to know what a scanner says is wrong. Not that I don't trust repair shops but...
The check engine light was on and I though that I had corrected the problem(gas cap wasn't on tight) but the light didn't go out. The scanner said the code number and gave the definition. Ipushed the remove code button and all has been well since then.
A week later my DD #2 had the same problem but the engine light went out and left the code in memory.
Cool toy but like some have said, there is more to fixing than the code may indicate.
