If you decide to change the plugs be aware of the plug removal problem with Ford V10's and follow the correct procedure.
That is true on the 3 valve V-10. The early V-10's up to around 01 had only 3 threads in the head for the spark plug to tighten onto. If you over tightened them it would tend to pull the threads out of the head and it would make a loud popping sound! They make a repair kit that is fairly easy to repair them.
Either way torque them properly.
