So I spent about an hour today in the generator compartment taking stuff apart just checking wire connections. Everything is tight. I'm not electrically inclined to check voltages so I am going to take it in on Tuesday and see if they can figure it out. I did notice today that when I fire up my generator it backfires really bad for about 30 seconds then levels out and sound fine. I've pretty much decided it has to be something in the generator that is causing the issue. Hoping my Generator is not shot. Its a Genrac RV Guardian 6500 with about 2300hrs on it. I do regular maintenance like oil and filter and air filter changes every 100 hours pretty religiously. It's never let me down. Wish it were an Onan but it's what came in it. Ill let you know what I find out when I take it in on Tuesday.
