Perhaps wrapping as much of the exhaust system in exhaust wrap may help. I know this is a different type of animal, but I'm a VW guy, and a buddy of mine had a similar issue with his vw bus (bed is located above the engine). Our solution was exhaust wrap and the addition of vents with unversal radiator fans blowing air into the engine compartment to keep things cool. He wired in some sort of timer to the relays to keep the fans going for 10 minutes after shut off to cool the engine compartment after shutoff. Idk how feasible this idea would be on a MH, but just thought I'd throw it out there, since this seems to be a design flaw rather then an actual mechanical problem.
I curious if the problem is simply hot air not escaping in the engine compartment, or if the exhaust or turbo is radiating the heat to the floor (I.e. too close). And if the floor and bed room is getting that hot, the engine compartment itself must be a literal oven. That can't be good for any plastic components, wiring, etc. Whatever the reason, I'd be afraid to drive that thing any distance if it's getting the entire bedroom hot.
