Tire Valves...
Well, very few RV builders provide any help with checking the tires. Fronts aren't too bad, but rears are difficult. Both ends made worse with those "simulators" that make the wheels look like chrome.
Is your Chassis a Ford or a Chevy? For many years, Ford used wheels with Eight Round "Hand" Holes. A Baby's Hand, maybe, but no way anybody from grade school up could get a had in there to check a tire. Ford finally went back to Four-Hole and Chevy was that way all along.
People here have done lots of things to ease tire checking but the Gold Standard is Custom Valves. Two good men run two excellent outfits that offer them: Bill at Dually Valve, and Chuck at Tire Man.
You'll spend north of $200 to get four custom valves across the back if you have to pay labor in addition to price of the valve kit.
You want a solution that involves NO connections and NO Flexible components. I struggled till I put a Borg valve kit (formed from Brass) on the rear and new straight METAL valves on the front. I also added Airless Double Seal Caps. I can check six tires in six minutes with ANY air gauge and air them up with ANY air hose chuck arrangement. Also the tires just don't go down. There's more loss in and around valves than you'd think.
I'm sorry the webpages are down for Borg and Tire Man. I have contact info for both and can send it to you if you like. Just send me a Private Message, and be sure you have "receive private message" turned on.
