As far as running the generator, be advised that many, (if not most) National Forest, National Park & COE cg's have specific generator hours. Many of them are like 2 hours in the morning & 2-4 hours in the evening. Some even have NO generators allowed. So I guess this part of the question will depend on where you're camping.
