I have a 24' unit and a 1-1/2 old small dog. When I first began taking Olivier, I left him in his crate with the TV on, blinds closed, a battery running fan, A/C on. Now that he is used to Rv-ing...and loves it...he has the run of the RV...but I still have the blinds closed, etc. I don't lock my doors and talk to my neighbors about that. I leave my name and cell number on my side door. He has lots of toys and is fine.
