this is common problem use stainless screws in about 3/4 inch from sides the s crews i believe #10 1 inch long every 3 to 4 inches run a 1/8 inch pilot hole do not go to deep or you will go through floor.If you want exact screw length and location of screws I will measure mine as it was repaired about 8 years ago.
