Extra long shower hose

I never could figure out why they put that hose in the bay. Who takes a shower outside?..:h..it's too short anyway for anything but washing off your feet...:S
I removed the hose and shower head completely. Home Depot has an adapter that then screws onto the faucet where you removed the existing hose. The adapter has the correct threads to screw directly on. The other end has standard hose threads. I can now attach a regular garden hose to the faucet. Easier to use now and I can even use it to wash the coach if I'm so inclined.....Dennis
