EZ Pass on Class C

Should I get 11" x 14" or 8" x 10" lense. I have a 30' Class C (1997 Damon Hornet) with a big window in the back...clean line of sight through rier view. Suggestions?

I have one of those stick on lenses on my rear window, and I find it very helpful. I can see shorter vehicles (passenger cars) that are following me closely that are not visible without the lens. It does take some getting used to, as "objects are closer than they appear."

yep, those freznel lenses are great. used them on my first two MHs that had a rear window. third one didn't have a window on the back.

Cool, thanks. I have great line of sight, but can only see far behind. I think I'll ask Santa for a lens!

If you have a line of sight to the rear window, and you don't have a rear view camera, I wholeheartedly recommend the stick-on lens. I have one and find it quite useful during the day. At night it doesn't work as well, due to the lights tending to smear (for lack of a better word) and due to the lack of context for where things are located.

By the way, they are not magnifier lenses, but reducer lenses (i.e. with a negative focal length). You see a wider angle, but stuff appears smaller. This also means it won't concentrate sunlight coming in and cause a fire or fry bugs, as a magnifier can do.

I have an old EZ Pass transponder on my car, and when I tried to transfer it over to my class C, it would not dependably pick up. I got a new transponder for the RV, and it works fine attached to the windshield up behind the rearview mirror. I was told that the transponders have improved and it used to be necessary to attach it to the cabover window, but no more. This new transponder is also about half the size of my other 6-8 year old one.

On the dashboard a little in front of the driver about 6 inches up from the window. We have a dash mat or carpet. The velcro on the back of the EZ Pass sticks to the dash mat so there is no worry about it sliding around. No problem driving up and down the east coast toll roads.

We have ours mounted in the cenetr of the bottom of the windshield and have never had a problem. I forget that it is there since our GPS unit blocks my view of it.

I've had an EZ Pass, along with a Florida Sun Pass, stuck on the windshield right next to the worthless rear view mirror of my class c for 2 years now and have never missed a toll.
