So many F53s handle just fine in the wind without additional parts/fixes I just have to believe ones that don't have some sort of issue with the front end whether it's insufficient toe-in or worn king pin bushings, drag link or tie bar rod ends. My 36 foot Winnie tracks straight as an arrow out here in Nevada winds. It takes a huge gust to shove it off course a little. Meeting trucks on NV 2 lanes rock the coach a little, but that's all. The F53 is just another Ford medium truck chassis that has been built for decades. I'm pretty sure they got it right by now. Of course, another issue may be the RV mfg building too close to the chassis max weight. A trip to the scale and comparison with the chassis load rating might be enlightening. The F53 comes in many different ratings and maybe the RV builder just got cheap.
