More progress.
Today my mechanic got the new muffler installed. The RV is quiet now!
The old muffler was pretty rotted.
One of the brown reading lights was missing. I scoured the internet but could not find another one. So, I bought 2 white lights and installed them. I put the single brown light in the bathroom.
I changed ALL the bulbs on the campers interior to LEDs. This will make the lights run cooler and use less energy. I left the incandescents on for a while and they got too hot to even touch! I'm surprised they didn't melt. I knew it was time for LEDs. I also installed some LED lights in the bathroom near the floor. These are switched on/off by the switch next to the water pump switch under the flip up table near the side doors. (only a falcon owner will know what I just said. LOL!) Originally, they used the old style license plate lights. The LEDs are much brighter, cooler and use less energy.
Then, I installed new water heater door hinges and a new door. The old hinges were rusted and the door was kind of beat up.
Then, I washed all the bed cushion covers.
Then, I popped in the new plumbing vent caps on the roof. No more leaks here! Some jobs are so easy and fulfilling! :)
And lastly, I got the new water pump installed and quickly found a few serious leaks. One of them was on the backside of the shower faucets and the only way to get at it was to remove the fridge! NOT FUN!
