HUGE VICTORY TODAY! The water system is finally tight and working 100% properly! It took about 3 days of diagnosis and repairs... lots of patience but it's finally done. I put in a new waterpump, filled up the holding tank and then found leak after leak after leak in the "Quest" plumbing. The worst leak was in an elbow on the back side of the shower faucets. The fridge had to come out to repair this. :S
Video I made for my mom who is also a 1980's RV owner and was my cheerleader from 4 states away, throughout the process.

New plumbing pieces - sharkbite/pex type. The hardware worker said the grey plumbing in our Intervec vans is called "quest". It was an early attempt at "pex" type plumbing which failed miserably, as pipes in house walls started exploding and leaking. The company went bankrupt.
