When I awoke in the morning from having slept up top, the headliner was wet with condensation I guess from my breath and my relative closeness to the top. Just thought I'd mention these few issues but if it works out for you then great and ignore my concerns and have a good time with your rv. It looks great!
I also wanted to mention that I added another battery under the hood with a Ford oem battery tray. This was in addition to the one located under the bed.
I haven't slept up top yet but I did spend 3 months sleeping in a winnebago views upper bunk. It was pretty confining too. I think I'll be ok in the Falcons bunk.
On the 86 falcon that I have there's one battery underneath the tub and one under the hood. I'm going to put a big group 31 battery in the rear under the tub. That should give plenty of reserve power to run the RVs systems.
