Falcon 19 footer - 1986 - newbie with questions

Great pics of your renovation! I have an '87 Falcon 170. Have made a lot of repairs, but I'm stumped with a stubborn window leak. It's on the top, front windows of the upper bed. There's a 1/2" gap in the rubber gasket; looks like they have shrunk at the top where the ends meet. I've used silicone caulk, but can't seem to permanently seal the leak. Do your Falcon's windows leak in the same place? If so, how have you repaired them?
