Today I got the new group 27 duralast (autozone) RV/Marine and battery box in and wired up. I just need to get a strap to secure it to the floor. I must admit that the I don't completely believe in the need for a vented battery box in this RV. I say that because millions of VW bugs had their batteries in the car under the back seat and no one ever had a problem with it. I'm sure there are many other vehicles where the battery is inside where the people are. Thoughts?
New outside vent cover on & sealed up. My caulking skills aren't the best but it's tight!
