Well, technically you have a junction box that you put an outlet in. This is to make service on the roof a/c easier. A rule of thumb to remember on electrical hookups is "Black to brass or shock your......." I'll keep it clean and let you finish the phrase. :-) Personally, I'm afraid of electricity. I'm pretty sure it has evil intent upon my person.
