Grouch mine is the "super cargo" version of the e250. The extra length makes the bathroom a bit more useable I think.
On a "shake-down run" today, one of the heater hoses started leaking. So, when we got back home and removed them all. I also will be replacing the radiator hoses just in case.
As I've mentioned previously, I have many drivetrains to take care of. I have some hard and fast rules whenever I get another vehicle. The first thing I do is change the oil and filter, flush the cooling system and replace the thermostat and all the hoses. Old hoses can look good but be rotten inside. Looking at your photo of your old hoses, they were well past their service life. I also check the flex hoses on the chassis. You have one at each front wheel assembly and one from the frame in back to the rear axle assembly. If there is ANY cracking, replace them. Maybe only one looks bad, but replace all three as they are usually the same age. The others can look good from the utside but collapse inside. This can cause problems down the road. A good brake system flush with fresh fluid can also forestall problems. When I flushed my brakes on my unit, it looked like chocolate syrup.
