The second difference is pretty critical. My van doesn't reach much behind the rear axle. You have an extra 12-18 inches over mine, plus the carrier. Be aware when you tunr sharp, either way, that overhand will swing out. It will be easy to clip a post or parked car. You have a clean straight unit and I'd hate to see a crumpled corner like I see on a lot of motorhome and trailers. The motorhomes with the rear axle around the middle of the body get it most of the time.
