Family Motor Coach Rallies

I'm not a member of FMCA. I did get a day pass to the National Rally in Indianapolis, IN. My wife and I had a great time visiting with members and vendors. Spent an entire day there. What I liked most about the rally was it was ALL motorhomes. We left there thinking we would definitely join. They also have a great magazine with articles pertaining to motorhomes. When we arrived home we discovered that FMCA would be voting to allow ALL RVs to be members. I have nothing against TTs. I owned one for several years but the draw for me was FMCA is all motorhomes because that's what I'm interested in. I've been following the FMCA forum and it appears the motion to accept all RVs will pass. I've contacted the Cincinnati office several times trying to get more info on this motion, and my opinion is the "vote" is not legitimate. The Board will manipulate the out come in their favor, pro TT. Just my opinion. FMCA will be just another Good Sam Club.
