Most are happy with being a motorhome organization, and feel FMCA is getting better as the RV industry as a whole gets better.
"As the RV Industry as a whole gets better" ????? ROFLMAO
It's gotten better as a whole? When?
That's funny.
September RV sales highest in 40 years
October 25, 2017
RESTON, Va. – RVIA’s September survey of manufacturers found RV wholesale shipments finished at 43,598 units, an increase of 29.4 percent over the 33,704 units shipped last September.
September 2017 shipments are the best September on comparable record. In fact, September marks the best shipment record in 40 years.
RV wholesale shipments have climbed to 378,006 units through nine months of 2017, up 16.6 percent over the 324,286 units shipped during the same period last year.
All towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, totaled 38,543 units for the month, an increase of 31.8 percent compared to the 29,233 units shipped in September 2016. Year-to-date totals for towable RVs are up 17 percent to 330,673 units.
September motorhome shipments are up 13.1 percent to 5,055 units over last year; paced by solid gains in Type C motorhomes. Year-to-date motorhome shipments have reached 47,333 units on 13.8 percent growth over the 41,599 units shipped during the same time last year.

Fair enough if you buy into the RVIA BS.
Roughly 428K units produced 2016, and if the 16% increase presented holds true possibly 496K out the door in 2017? We'll see if that happens. Hardly a milestone regardless as prior to the RV Industry getting its clock cleaned in 2008 they produced 390K units in 06. Very cyclic and the next clock cleaning will take place sooner rather than later.
When you look at quality overall, building more rapidly assembled junk that's pushed out the door with no quality control whatsoever hardly qualifies as an industry getting better however. Unless its a really high end unit, such as a class A or luxury TT/5er from one of the smaller manufacturers the Industry basically is producing garbage. A blind man could go around to dealer lots and RV shows and see it.
Perhaps the word used should of been bigger as opposed to better?
