On my previous motorhome I mounted it to the ladder on the inside vertical. Due to the wide angle of the camera, you will probably not even notice that it is mounted to one side. I ran the cable down the ladder vertical and under the coach and then entered the cab. I opted for this method because 1) I did not want to drill into the exterior wall not knowing what was underneath and 2) It would be hard to hide the cable inside the coach without ripping out some panels or flooring. I had this setup for 7 years before I sold the motorhome and it is still holding up with the new owner.
