LOL, the higher elevation is probably the correct suggestion. :) We love Lake Meade RV Village. It makes a GREAT shake-down park. All new concrete pads, Full 50 AMP hook-ups on both sides of the pad (so you can back in or nose in) and amazing Lake Mead views, easy access to the beach or marinas if that's your thing. Nice easy hikes etc... but it's HOT...and on a holiday crazy busy. The higher elevation around here has no hook-ups and a 40-foot RV won't fit.
