What Class A MHs from 2002 to 2006 have factory fiberglass roofs? I know that Winnebagos do but what others came that way new? My current MH has a rubber roof and don't want that hassle on my next unit that will probably be my last.
Well Sir,
Like you, I too had a rubber roof on our previous coach, a '99 Fleetwood Bounder, 34V with the F-53 and V-10. Nice coach, served us well for over 7 years. But, I was never comfortable with a rubber roof. I kept good care of mine. I washed it regularly, and finally re-coated it with a Dicor system. It looked great but, I still don't like ANY FORM of rubber roof, no matter what material it's made with.
So, I too, wanted a fiberglass roof on our next coach. So, because we happened upon an '07 Itasca Meridian for sale in Quartzsite one year at the RV event, we learned that most, if not all, Itascas and Winnes have fiberglass roofs. Yahoooo.
So, long story short, we ended up with an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT. I personally are much more at ease with that roof then I ever was with a rubber one. It's a preference thing.
