Sounds to me like you and the family are very excited to get out and go camping.
I certainly understand that. Been there done that as they say.
But 50K is a lot of money, and if you spend that on the wrong MH life can be pretty miserable. MH's are easy to buy, tough to maintain and expensive to fix. And can be very hard to sell,
So buying the wrong one can be a nightmare. You mention El-Monte gives a 12 month power train warrenty, However becuase the average MH miles are about 5k a year, although it sounds good, it is really not all that much.
My advice which is worth what you payed for it, slow down, look at many more models and floor plans, and different years etc. After a while you will get pretty darn educated on MH's.
You will know a great rig when you find it and know it is at a great price. But for most of us it takes a little time and effort. Very, very worth it in the end, as opposed to buying the wrong rig, or one that breaks down ever 5 minutes, Or that you can not get out of without getting really beat up on the price, if you paid to much for it when you bought it.
