Filling Up A Gasser/Pump Limits
I know I'm probably opening myself up to a bunch of snarky comments, but I believe the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked, so here goes... When I had my DP I could fill up my tank...

The limits began as a precaution against fueling mishaps. I know it sounds corny, but you have to think like a regulator. The belief was that the clerk was taken out of the loop, so a limit was needed. Maybe it has morphed into a fraud thing now. I have been out of the business for a while.
