Filling Up A Gasser/Pump Limits
I know I'm probably opening myself up to a bunch of snarky comments, but I believe the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked, so here goes... When I had my DP I could fill up my tank...

Regarding multiple swipes: About 10 years ago, I was on a very long drive in my car that had a smallish gas tank. When I tried to fill up for the third time in one day, the Visa card was denied. I only carried one card in those days, but fortunately I had cash for the purchase.
I later called the CC company and was told that there was a 2 purchase limit per day on gasoline using the card. This was to limit there losses in cases where the card had been stolen.
I have no idea whether this is still true of Visa, or if other card issuers have the same policy. I always carry at least 3 different cards these days.
