Hi, I have a gasser. You need to scope out the gas station for space to turn, height and exiting. My filler is on the driver side so I avoid making right turns at the pumps since wag may be an issue leaving. Saying this I also make sure I have enough room to negotiate the turns I need to make before I commit. It really is not a hassle as it becomes second nature after a while.
The biggest hassle I have at the pump is always hitting the $75 credit card max and not being able to fill the tank unless I take out a second charge card. However, Flying J does allow for a higher limit if you have their affinity card.
