well I certainly have been down a road or two myself and agree about no brats, toys, loud music, etc. myself but after having 3 motorhomes and now a small TT I don't really care what type of RV is parked next to me and in my opinion wanting to stay in a Class A campground, and there are some of those, is elitist, snobbish, etc.
Oy vey, Bumpy, what you're saying is reverse snobbery. Just a flip of the coin.
Stop taking this personally. Some folks just want more amenities, goodies, space, etc. It doesn't necessarily mean they look down on you or don't want to park next to you.
the OPs post of "We go to Palm Desert every winter (not yet by RV) but plan to when I retire. I am currently in a campground for the weekend in NH and it is large, mostly tents and trailers (we could be the only Class-A) and while sounding like a snob, I feel compelled to ask, where are the folks like us?" certainly sounds like the OP looks down on anybody in a tent or non Class A RV.
