Sorry, but no class B needs a 35000 Btu furnace. Suburban's candidate in that market is the 'Suburban NT-16SEQ Direct Discharge Quiet Furnace 16000 BTU/H Trailer Camper RV.'
The so-called '16000 Btu/H' 'quiet' unit is exactly the same old shrieking horror that was and may still be standard in a lot of B's for a decade and more, and that I have in the Tiger. I'd hardly call 58 dbA at 10' (distance to bunk) "quiet" in the middle of the night. And the '16000 Btu' unit actually delivers just over 12,000 Btu as it strangles the battery. There are quieter modern alternatives, such as Propex for LP, or Espar for diesel.
Jim, "Mo' coffee!"
I was planning on getting the Atwood excalibur 8500 IV 16 00btu unit which sells for around 570$ is that a good choice or another shrieking horror story?
