I have been reading this issue for months and find it all very interesting. I wanted to pass along an event I experienced to see if others have similar experiences. It is about the price and discounts. I was admiring a new DP at a local dealer and he told me the price was $208,000. That is more than I want to pay. When I returned home, I looked up the same Coach and found a dealer who had the same coach exactly advertised for $148000. So, I called the local dealer back and he said, "Well, I can sell it to you for $148000". So, there is a 25% discount without negotiation BUT after I mentioned the other dealer's price. What if I hadn't asked?
