Re tanks and miles, I have a 36' '94 HR Imperial with 100 gallon tank. My Cummins 8.3 plus Allison 6spd and 'not in a hurry' speed gives me slightly over 10mpg. My wife won't let me go to empty (she's smart!) but I regularly get to 900 miles before I fill up. (Unless I'm about to leave a low fuel cost state).
