I have been looking into the purchase of a diesel pusher as my first RV and found this posting interesting. It confirms many of my thoughts cocerning the selection process.
I have purchased a very useful tool in evaluating RVs from the RV Consumer Group. It provides pricing and ratings for all RVs. You subscribe to either the trailor ratings or the motor home ratings.
In the price section, it indicates that for most RVs, the average price paid for a new coach is 79% of the list price. This means to me that some people pay more and some pay less.
For those of you who have already purchased a new RV, does this agree with your experience?
Thanks.
