Leveling Jacks or leveling on air bags is essential in many RV parks due to sites being not level. You need to be able to level to be comfortable in your rig, even if you have leveling jacks you may still need to have other leveling aids, some folks use the portable blocks which you can buy for that purpose.
In Florida, you might find that you will need two AC units running at the same time to keep your RV cool, depends on size RV you are cooling. Most rigs 34 feet or longer appear to have 2 AC units as standard install. You will need 50 amp hookups to use both AC units at the same time, your generator will have provide ample current to run both ACs at the same time.
Not sure what rig you are considering but I'd be looking for an older high end rig rather than a newer low end rig. Lots of good deals on those units now and they do make traveling more comfortable, better handling, better ride. Something in an older Foretravel, Country Coach, Blue Bird, etc.,
