Once again, be it car, boat, RV, riding mower, etc, ALWAYS ask/DEMAND from seller, ALL the required manuals, if they do not have then, require serial nr, model mfg of all repairable items for review prior to sale. If new from dealer or used at dealer, REQUIRE ALL manuals be placed on the item they cover, be it engine, generator, stove, refer, AC etc.Not good enough to just "here are the manuals etc", have them placed ON/AT the item they refer to, then assure what they are, match the unit. Can save you lot of money and issues if anything goes wrong as first thing parts of repair must know is "Model, year, Serial Nr, and MFG. Nothing worse then breakdown and not know what it was that broke. Dealers can supply all manuals with what they sell as easy for them to source, make it part of deal and as said, require manual be on item, not in big pile somewhere. Noe this will often draw attention to what seems "great deal" to look closer if nothing available. Seller should at least, supply model nr, serial nr, year/mfg if nothing else.
