So been at it for a few days now. I'm sure some will shake thier heads at the pictures and vid but ya godda understand that between buying it and paying the mechanic we nearly had to move into it as we're out of reserve funds, but I'm doing the best I can with what I got, but I'll post the pictures anyways to see what kind of reaction they get.

I'm stripping out the rippled wood and the drywall mesh/bathtub caulking patchwork job the seller did. and redoing it properly. This is or is similar to the materials we bought for patching the areas that need repair

And a .9 gallon can of roof patch, white elastometric.
Another thing I was thinking about is some bathtub matting? or backing?? Seen it at home depot, its like heavy duty rubber sheeting that comes in a 5X?? roll for $200+and the scraps are $6 per foot. But I'm afraid the paint wont adhere to it and/or it will expand and contract at too great a rate to stay sealed for very long.
