I started with a brand new Jamboree in 1969 and have many various RVs in that time. In my experience I found that many Cs have a water problem in the cabover section that is expensive to repair. I would consider an A and I would also say that Newmar was the first to come ot with slides in 1990 and has the most experience with slides. I had a 2003 Mountain Aire gas MH and had virtually no problems with it in 11 years. I miss it but the 6 steps up kept me out. I have 1 step in the GMC and the Roadtrek suits better for a single person. Keep looking and it is no more difficult to drive a Class A over a C. The rear is the same width on both so you need the same space to get around.
