1. There should be no need to ever do so. In a 24' C the dash air should easily cool the entire coach. We live in Tucson and the dash air on our 24' C (E-350), will turn the cab into a meat locker and easily cools the rest of the coach to 72.
2. Try lighting each of the burners on the stove and let them run for a few minutes (until you have nice blue flames all around). You may have some air in the lines and this will clear it.
