First time RV'r . Winnebago Navion Itasca 24G Class C

On our rig to start the fridge on propane for a trip I first turn on the gas valve at the tank, then run the propane furnace to clear some of the air out of the lines.

Then I start the fridge. It will produce an error code. I have to restart 5-6 times before the fridge will operate on propane successfully. It takes this amount of time to clear the air from the propane line from where it tees off from the furnace and goes to the fridge. The refrigerator does not consume much gas to operate.
