It may be too late, but you should be able to use the frame you have on the right side...to make the left side. But, build it with the windows you want, or where they need to be because of the sheet-metal exterior. This way, you will have identical framing for the cab-over section. As far as the sides are concerned, I'd make it in sections, and then bold the sections together. Just allow for the framing to match up with siding, and interior wall sections. As a carpenter, I'm sure you'll be fine with this.:)
If, you can't take the right section back down, you may still be able to use the old section that you used as a template....even for the opposite side....just remember it's the opposite side:S
