You can use a liquid wood preservative such as CUPRINOL
I have used this product in the past when repairing / replacing soffit and facia wood around the house and found where the end of the rafters / truss had started to rot from water damage. Cleaned up the bad wood and sprayed the rafters with a spray bottle back as far as it would reach and then used a brush to soak it into the ends. It stopped farther damage and this was 13 years ago.
Pressure threated studs would be hard for malcom to work with since they usually are still wet at the lumber yard / home center and are usually warped.
A liquid preservative applied around the floor sill plate and critical areas such as window framing and the overhead bunk and roof to side wall areas would be a good prevention.
