Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

Back in the 70's it was really popular to have the vehicles undercoated. I can't remember what the name of the one I used:h (actually, they installed it at a shop), but it was supposed to make the chassis last longer. It basically looked like it was painted with tar, but it dried, and wasn't effected by the heat. Man, I wish I could remember the name of the stuff....this getting old stuff sucks!:S
My guess, that is what you are looking at on the bottom of the chassis. You can buy spray-cans of "undercoating", and then do some touch-up when you have everything completed. It's probably not as tough as those rhino-liner sprays, but it should do the trick.
