Mine has Square lights as well. What happens is the manufacturers would by a bunch of chassis at one time and set them aside to build later. The RV is titled when the coach portion is completed and it's ready for sale. So... the round/square headlight difference for the '79 Dodge RVs is a result of Dodge updating the line, and the coach manufactures still having supply.
It gets confusing when looking for parts... as the Square Headlights is a '79-'84 style, but all the books say Dodge stopped putting 440s in vans in '78.
